Santa Fe: Snacktime

Moving along here; there's a fair amount of silliness, but still some good working getting done.
Took a break last hour for some snacks from Walter Burke Catering (we had paté how many other 24 HCD sites had paté?) and La Montanita Co-op.

Also had a visit from a reporter from The Santa Fe New Mexican, so with any luck there will be an article on the event in Sunday's edition while it's still happening.

24HCD Venues & Participants: pictures & artwork
We really appreciate getting to see the artwork as it's being finished, and the pictures of your event!
Please, though, email only your url links to artwork and pictures. With so many places around the world ready to share their event details (good work, by the way!), we have a lot of attachments trying to get through.
Any official 24hcd venue is also welcome to become an author on this blog, and welcome to post pictures and event details here. Send us the email you would use to log into Blogger, and we'll send you an invitation.
Great work so far! Good luck with your event!

Santa Fe: Underway
It's taken a while to get to the post, but Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA got underway at 12:09 MST. This year, Santa Fe's event is taking place in the new Warehouse 21's spacious gallery on the second floor.

Twenty-five people are working now, around ten have done this before in one way or another. It's early, the energy's high …

Q-Town- HOUR TWO
Hi Kids!
We got Jake here to do pix and I'll be posting every hour on my 24 Hours From Q-Town blog (I really have no idea how you get there from here but I'm sure somebody will figure it out--might be a link or something...) until it's over.
Think of me as a young Jerry Lewis (too young to remember who he is? One of the greatest slapstick comedians in history whose creativity and comic genius flows in the blood of everyone that has come since him. But I digress...) and his labor day March of Dimes Telethon, except not from Vegas and with no really famous guests or musical acts.
Hmm... Come to think of it, maybe I'm not really like Jerry Lewis after all, eh? Might wanna rethink that...
Oh well, I'm kinda new to this blogging thing so you'll hafta bear with me, or not. It's up to you. This is America, after all...
Back soon,
Your pal,
Chuck

24 Hours in Q-Town--Hour One
Hi Kids,
It's me, your ole pal, Chuck, and it looks as if things are up and running here in Albuquerque, AKA; Q-Town and while I was hoping for a group shot, it seems that already folks are feeling the pressure and don't want to disengage from their respective projects to gather together for a group hug. Alas...

In-progress shots at Artists' Mediums in VT

More photos to come! It's 1:35 p.m. E.S.T. and 4 of the 12 particpants finished their 24 pages. Lauren is still chugging away, we'll see how she does in a while! We're winding down so we'll update again with more photos and some artwork images on Tuesday. Thanks, all!
